About the Author
Chantala Davis, Founder/CEO of A Mothers Arms, Inc., was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. She is a proud graduate of Eckerd College with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services. Throughout her career, she has held various lead roles under her work history, such as Family Support Specialist, Outreach Specialist, Program Facilitator, and currently Founder and CEO of A Mothers Arms, Inc., a non-profit organization serving the women and families in her community.Â
Mrs. Davis also volunteers and serves on many diverse boards and committees throughout the surrounding cities in her area. She holds several certifications as a Parent Instructor, Child Care Operations, Mental Health First Aid, as well as numerous others that equip her with the necessary skills to serve and empower women to elevate and redefine their powers of comprehension. She is also a member of the National Black Child Development Institute and an alumna of Leadership Pinellas.Â
Chantala has always had a passion for helping others, loving and supporting the children, and assisting her community with growth and development. God has placed individuals in her life who have purposely poured into her and assisted with expanding her horizons to explore and create new possibilities. And now her principle of what she does comes from Proverbs 11:25, “And he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” So she says, let’s water the world by welcoming new ideas and thoughts and embracing change!
